Over the past several weeks, the Roger Williams University community expressed discontent with the furlough program instituted by university administration.
The faculty and staff picketed on the sidewalks just outside the university on Nov. 21 and 24.
Then, on Dec. 11, students rallied in support of the faculty and staff, expressing their frustrations regarding the furloughs.
