Senate Update 9/29: “Just Another Day in Paradise”
During this meeting on September 29, 2025, the senators swore in the new senators and officers for the class of 2029. The new senators include Dino Loaiza, Sophia Bloom, Caeden Morency, Gaby Henriquez.
ICC elections include results for the class of 2029 and 2027. The new positions that were filled include President, Vice President, and Secretary.
The new president for the class of 2029 is Emili Pol, Vice President is Owen Osterday, and the secretary is Molly Burnett. The class of 2027 also welcomes President Harry Radzinski and Vice President Liani Schilling.
New senators are super excited to be filling these positions and being able to take part in our campus. Owen Osterday, the vice president for the class of 2029, says, “I am looking forward to collaborating with my peers and filling this year with awesome events!”
One of the new senators, Sophia Bloom, talked about the importance of students having a say in what happens here on campus. She stated, “I wanted to take part in the senate because I think it is really important that we as students have a say in decisions that affect us.”
As the new senators begin to take on their roles, the senators look forward to a productive and interesting year. We will have to wait to see what these new officers and senators will bring to the table.
